Woodard Grandchildren

Count them - NINE kids! You would think it would be difficult to get that many kids to look at you at the same time, but the only difficult thing was wrangling Charlie, and I wasn't really even the one doing that:) Love the one-year-olds that don't stand still for long! This was fun because it was supposed to be a surprise for Grandma for Christmas, only Grandma just happened to stop by that day for a visit. She knew immediately what was going on & she was thrilled! Also - loved the location of this session! There were endless possibilities for fabulous backgrounds! I may be calling in the future Martha! Thanks to all for allowing me to photograph your family. Baby Harley

I am so blessed! For many reasons, but on this evening in particular, to have had the opportunity to photograph this precious new little one! What an adorable family! For my Aunt Jeri Lynn, I hope you love them because I'm really bad at keeping secrets! I took these photos of my cousins children for their grandparents (as a surprise Christmas gift) and almost spilled the beans like 3 times! Wow! Am I bad at surprises or what? Fortunately, I caught myself each time and covered pretty well because she had no idea & she loved them! YEAH! That was the goal! Anyway - Love the kids, love the colors, love the pics. Canter Family

Sorry it has taken me so long to post! But I'm back now:) The fall season was a busy one for this newbie & now that winter has settled in & things have slowed a bit, I hope to fill you in with what I've been up to these past couple of months! Beginning with...

The Canter Family (none but Grandpa actually has the name Canter, but they all belong to him, so they are the Canter Family). They were a challenge, as they were the first large group of children that I tried to capture all smiling at the same time - they were fun, silly, sweet, wonderful children! It actually rained on us the first go round, so we tried again a few days later. On the first day Grandpa let me take pictures of him by himself (with the persuasion of his daughter) and I was elated. The photograph of him is one of my favorites. I grew up with the parents of these children, so it was great to reconnect with friends from my past & to see faces I hadn't seen in a long time, and new ones that looked so much like the parents I remember being their ages. It kind of made me realize how old I am! Thank you Sara, for looking me up & giving me the opportunity to photograph your family! I truly enjoyed every minute of it! With a group this large, there were tons of proofs, so I had to narrow them down a lot - hope you enjoy!

Woodard Family

The Woodard family is close to my heart in many ways! I was so glad to be able to capture some fun times for them! And I think that it's quite possible that Willie was my first guy that didn't mind having his picture taken! The boys had a great time & I think you can see that they were just boys being boys - which I LOVED! There were so many to choose from that I had a difficult time deciding. Sorry if there are too many. Hope you enjoy.
